Introducing the central TRANSCONNECT account: one sign-in for our essential customer-facing services

One sign-in instead of three. Sounds simple, but for you it's a noticeable convenience win: with the central TRANSCONNECT account, we're bundling access to our essential customer-facing services into one shared entry point. From 31.08.2026 it's live.

Concretely: instead of signing in separately to community, to TRANSCONNECT.download (formerly "Hub") and to the new online documentation TRANSCONNECT.docs, you find everything through a single "Customer login" on transconnect.io. That's not just more convenient for you — it lets us guarantee security and reliability consistently across all services.

Three services, one account:

  • TRANSCONNECT.community for the technical exchange
  • TRANSCONNECT.download (formerly "Hub") for Docker images and, going forward, further artifacts
  • TRANSCONNECT.docs as the new web-based product documentation for TRANSCONNECT.local — other products in the TRANSCONNECT landscape are not part of it

What does this mean for existing customers? Three things, at the core:

  • Active accounts are migrated. Your email address stays the same, as does your community content.
  • Your password is NOT carried over. For security reasons, you set a new password yourself, through a link we send you by mail around 31.08.2026. On first sign-in, you re-accept our Terms of Service.
  • TRANSCONNECT.download access tokens in pipelines need to be recreated once after the cutover.

In parallel, with TRANSCONNECT.docs we're shifting the focus of the TRANSCONNECT.local product documentation from ZIP to the browser. Delivery as a ZIP in the product package will remain available for now, but updates land in the online version first.

All details and the full migration flow are in the community post.
